Biblical Authority Jesus called His twelve disciples to Him and gave them authority to drive out impure spirits and to heal every disease and sickness. Matthew 10:1 “The Kingdom of heaven has come near. Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy, drive out demons. Freely you have received; freely give.” Matthew 10:7,8
“I have frequently said that it is not a sin to be sick or to die. It is, however, a sin for sickness and death to go unchallenged because there is no one to pray.” John Wesley
Power and Authority “Heal the sick who are there and tell them, ‘The Kingdom of God has come near to you.’” Luke 10:9 The seventy-two returned with joy and said, “Lord, even the demons submit to us in your name.” Luke 10:17
