A want is something you do not need to survive. Toys are a want.

A boat or camper is a want.

A swimming pool and a trampoline are wants.

A worker earns money to buy needs and wants. The money a worker earns is called a paycheck or salary.

Workers need certain skills to do a job. Workers can go to school to learn skills or be trained on the job.

Workers must perform their jobs well.

For example, a teacher must come to work every day, be on time, plan lessons, and teach students. If the teacher performs her job well, her students will learn what they need to and do well in school.
