What Technology Do You Use? List all of the different types of technology you encounter/use during a typical weekday: At home in the morning In school At home in the evenings When finished, create a significance continuum by placing the types of technology listed in your homework and assessing its significance. Make sure you explain your choices. Least significant Most e.g. Mobile phone

Importance of Technology Were there any similarities between your answers and your partner’s? Why do you think this is? Of all the products on your list, which product can you not live without? Why? Which product would be the easiest to let go? Why? How significant is technology in your life?

Advantages & Disadvantages of Daily Usage

Films and Formats of Release The first films ever made were released in 2D format. This still continues to be a traditional format of release. Films were then released in a 3D format with the earliest known release in 1922s. These days IMAX is a popular choice because it has the capacity to record and display images of a greater size and resolution of traditional formats. 2D 2-dimensional films show the width and height of characters 3D 3-dimensional films show the length, breadth and depth of characters IMAX frame Compared to traditional 35mm widescreen

Find one person who… …owns a radio …has watched a 2D film in the cinema …has watched a 3D film in the cinema …has watched a film in an IMAX cinema …has watched a film on the internet …has watched a film on DVD …has watched a film on television …has watched a film on their phone …has read a film review in a newspaper/magazine …has watched a film on VHS
