Lord of the Flies Chapter 11 Response

Chapter 11 Response In Chapter 11, as Piggy is shouting to calm the situation between Jack and Ralph and remind the boys of the importance of rules and order, Roger releases the booby trap boulder – knocking Piggy to his death on the rocks below and shattering the conch. The chapter concludes as Ralph – the only survivor – is hunted down by Jack’s group, and democracy on the island comes to an end. What do you think is represented by Piggy’s death and the shattering of the conch? Defend your opinion on this question by using specific examples. (At least 2 paragraphs)
