Who are we? 5 year program - opportunity to earn a high school diploma from HCEC and an Associate’s transfer degree from BRCC For FREE! Tuition and cost of books are free as long as you maintain a “C” average in your classes Some of us may be the first in our family to earn a college degree Staff – 7 teachers, 7-8 support staff 200 students – we offer a small, personalized environment

Expectations Must be able to complete honors and college level coursework Behave like a college student Be accountable for your actions Use time wisely Turn in ALL assignments Attendance is important

Student Activities Clubs – HCEC and BRCC Prom for all grade levels Campus events – dances, Fall Fest, Spring Picnic, assemblies, Café Day, Spirit Week 10 hours of community service yearly Trips – College Visits, Washington D.C. No athletics, band, strings or chorus

Application Process We accept between 40-45 freshmen each year STEP 1: Application Complete and turn in on time – incomplete applications will not be considered! Application must be completed by: Student – Student Agreement and Essay (preferably typed) Parent – Parent Agreement and Demographics Counselor/Principal – Recommendation , grades, test scores, attendance and discipline records 2 Teachers – Teacher Recommendation Completed applications are due to your school counselor by: Friday, February 16

Application Process STEP 2 – Interview You will be notified if you made it to Step 2 by March 2 Interviews will be held on Tuesday, March 13 afterschool Interview consist of: Teacher interviews Student interviews Student activity On-Demand writing Parent meeting
