How to Read a GPS Report All Requirements Met: Satisfied This is how the entire advisement report appears if your student has satisfied every requirement. Every Section appears in a collapsed state indicating that there are no more courses to take and that the student should be preparing for Graduation.

How to Read a GPS Report Graduate Policies for the student’s specific program. If a course violates a policy, the course/s will display in its respective section. Notice the “Computational Physics” transfer course listed here violates the 7 year policy Should the student need to use a 4000-level course to satisfy a program requirement above the 30 hr minimum (Pre Reqs etc. )you may use the eform to move this course. I grades will be held here until they change If a course falls in the report that you don’t want to use, you must use the eform to request that it be removed from the Plan of Study. All C grades will be held in the Unsatisfactory Grade box. The program must indicate through the eform which of those grades (if any) they would like to use in the student’s Plan of Study. Note: Courses that are excluded from the policy section will not show if the student returns for a degree on the same level

How to Read a GPS Report In progress or satisfied courses appear in a collapsed state. To view all courses taken you may expand by clicking on the green arrow . Outstanding courses will force requirement lines to expand. Status color changes from Red to Green when “All Requirements Met and the Graduate Status GPA” are Satisfied. Note. In progress courses are recognized as being satisfied.

How to Read a GPS Report These reference numbers help to identify Requirements, making it easier to alter course status. This is an example of a note which appears after an exception has been posted. Here’s an example of a course substitution; This Advance Math for Engineers course MAP 5435 was substituted for MAP 6385. Click on the number in the Notes column to view the description of the exception that was posted via the eform.

How to Read a GPS Report Graduate Milestones will vary based on Degree level. Master’s students that are non-thesis will not have milestones. Every Program has certain milestones students are required to meet. Once Met, these requirements will be marked Satisfied! I just wanted to point out that these numbers were created when we built the requirements and are there for referencing certain blocks of information if we ever need to troubleshoot a problem in a certain area. They are also required whenever you request a change in the students GPS using the eForm.

How to Read a GPS Report University Requirements are non-course requirements that are necessary to be met in order for a student to graduate from UCF. Program Requirement Checklist - Non Course requirements specific to your student’s program. Not all students will have Non course university requirements. Not all programs have requested to have program specific checklists set up. If your program would like to track non course requirements, please contact Robin McCormick for assistance. Comments from the students College, program or the Graduate College regarding their plan of study.

How to Read a GPS Report Here is a listing of every course this student has taken while in or transferred into his Graduate Career. Courses are listed chronologically by term. The green check indicates he was enrolled in the UCF course. The upward facing arrow indicates external transfer credit. The yellow diamond indicates an in progress course.
