Advantage Previous MIH group manipulate commands indicate new group members by complete subtree. We can reduce their data size by using two type of indication methods. Indicate group members by complete subtree. (The current command) Indicate non-group members by complete subtree. 21-14-0053-00-MuGM
Flow Diagram: Generate Complete Subtree Input : Group Management Tree, MIHF IDs of the group members We will present examples of the condition by below slide. MIHF IDs satisfy a condition? Yes Generate Complete subtree of the complement set of the MIHF IDs Generate Complete subtree of the MIHF IDs Set Complement = 0 Set Complement = 1 Output: Complement, CompleteSubtree fragments, SubgroupRange 21-14-0053-00-MuGM
Flow Diagram: Process Complete Subtree TLV Input : Group Management Tree, Leaf ID, Complement, CompleteSubtree Complement = 0 Yes Is Leaf ID covered by Complete subtree? Is Leaf ID covered by Complete subtree? Yes Yes Go to Step [join] or [stay] Go to Step [Leave] 21-14-0053-00-MuGM
Examples of the condition Result of comparing data sizes of two complete subtrees CompleteSubtree of group member CompleteSubtree of non-group member Choose smaller one. The number of new group member The number of all members managed by the group management tree The number of new group members < 2 21-14-0053-00-MuGM
