How Firm a Foundation CCLI #606984
How firm a foundation Ye saints of the Lord Is laid for your faith In His excellent Word
What more can He say Than to you He hath said To you who for refuge To Jesus have fled
And will still give thee aid Fear not I am with thee O be not dismayed For I am thy God And will still give thee aid
I’ll strengthen thee help thee And cause thee to stand Upheld by my righteous Omnipotent hand
When through fiery trials My grace all sufficient Thy pathway shall lie My grace all sufficient Shall be thy supply
The flame shall not hurt thee I only design Thy dross to consume And thy gold to refine
The soul that on Jesus Hath leaned for repose I will not I will not Desert to his foes
That soul though all hell Should endeavor to shake I’ll never no never No never forsake

Proverbs 3:5–6 5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart And do not lean on your own understanding. 6 In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He will make your paths straight.
A Word About Resolutions Whether you always make a resolution or never do, the implication is the same: resolutions – even the resolutions we keep – do not satisfy the longings of our soul.
To enjoy God’s best in 2017
To enjoy God’s best in 2017
1. We must trust Christ fully (5).
To trust is to throw one’s self down face first or “to lean with the whole body upon something, in order to rest upon it” (KD, 87).
The heart is the “totality of man’s inner or immaterial nature” (Harris, TWOT).
Understanding means perception, insight, or one’s ability to figure things out.
You can’t figure things out until you give up on you figuring things out.
Trusting the Lord means throwing out the back up plans and throwing yourself completely into Jesus, His mission, and His way of life.
Real trust leads to right action.
2. We must obey Him comprehensively (6).
The way we grow in our faith in God is by doing things that require us to have faith in God.
Just as we are commanded to trust into the Lord in v Just as we are commanded to trust into the Lord in v. 5, we are commanded to acknowledge Him in all our ways in v. 6.
“It is not a mere theoretic acknowledgement that is meant, but earnest penetrating cognizance, engaging the whole man” (KD, 87).
Too often, when we say nothing is off the table, we do not examine what we know is on the table.

#33 To God Be the Glory
Great things He hath done To God be the glory Great things He hath done So loved He the world That He gave us His Son
And opened the lifegate Who yielded His life An atonement for sin And opened the lifegate That all may go in
Let the earth hear His voice! Praise the Lord! Let the earth hear His voice! Let the people rejoice!
Great things He hath done O come to the Father Through Jesus the Son And give Him the glory Great things He hath done
O perfect redemption The purchase of blood To every believer The promise of God
The vilest offender Who truly believes That moment from Jesus A pardon receives
Let the earth hear His voice! Praise the Lord! Let the earth hear His voice! Let the people rejoice!
Great things He hath done O come to the Father Through Jesus the Son And give Him the glory Great things He hath done
Great things He hath done And great our rejoicing He hath taught us Great things He hath done And great our rejoicing Through Jesus the Son
But purer and higher And greater will be Our wonder, our victory When Jesus we see
Let the earth hear His voice! Praise the Lord! Let the earth hear His voice! Let the people rejoice!
Great things He hath done O come to the Father Through Jesus the Son And give Him the glory Great things He hath done

Sing To The King
Sing to the King Who is coming to reign Glory to Jesus The Lamb that was slain
Life and salvation His empire shall bring Joy to the nations When Jesus is King
Come let us sing a song A song declaring We belong to Jesus He is all we need
Lift up a heart of praise Sing now with Voices raised to Jesus Sing to the King
For His returning We watch and we pray We will be ready The dawn of that day
We'll join in singing With all the redeemed Satan is vanquished And Jesus is King
Come let us sing a song A song declaring We belong to Jesus He is all we need
Lift up a heart of praise Sing now with Voices raised to Jesus Sing to the King

Cornerstone
My hope is built on nothing less Than Jesus' blood and righteousness I dare not trust the sweetest frame But wholly trust in Jesus' Name
Weak made strong in the Savior's love Through the storm He is Lord Christ alone Cornerstone Weak made strong in the Savior's love Through the storm He is Lord Lord of all
When darkness seems To hide His face I rest on His unchanging grace In every high and stormy gale My anchor holds within the veil
He is Lord Lord of all
When He shall come With trumpet sound Oh may I then in Him be found Dressed in His righteousness alone Faultless stand before the throne
Hallelujah To My King
O how strong The power of Jesus' name It is stronger than any other name How sweet the victory That bore my shame Took the burden of my sin away
Hallelujah what a Savior I owe everything to Him Hallelujah what a Savior Hallelujah to my King
O how great the kindness Our God has shown We were strangers Now we're called His own
His grace has welcomed The sinner home Tender mercies Lead us to the throne
Hallelujah Hallelujah to my King Hallelujah Hallelujah to my King
Hallelujah what a Savior I owe everything to Him Hallelujah what a Savior Hallelujah to my King
What peace The Spirit of Jesus brings Through the trials He will carry me
One day in Heaven Our eyes will meet Filled with wonder All the saints will sing
Hallelujah what a Savior I owe everything to Him Hallelujah what a Savior Hallelujah to my King
Hallelujah Hallelujah to my King Hallelujah Hallelujah to my King

His body the bread His blood the wine Broken and poured out All for love The whole earth trembled And the veil was torn Love so amazing

Forever (We Sing Hallelujah)
The moon and stars they wept The morning sun was dead The Savior of the world was fallen His body on the cross His blood poured out for us The weight of every curse upon Him
One final breath He gave As heaven looked away The Son of God was laid in darkness A battle in the grave The war on death was waged The power of hell forever broken
The ground began to shake The stone was rolled away His perfect love could not be overcome Now death where is your sting Our resurrected King Has rendered you defeated
Now forever He is glorified Forever He is lifted high And forever He is risen He is alive - He is alive
We sing hallelujah The Lamb has overcome
And now, death, where is your sting? Our resurrected King has overcome He's overcome
