James 1:13 – 16 CEB 13 No one who is tested should say, “God is tempting me! ” This is because God is not tempted by any form of evil, nor does he tempt anyone. 14 Everyone is tempted by their own cravings; they are lured away and enticed by them. 15 Once those cravings conceive, they give birth to sin; and when sin grows up, it gives birth to death. 16 Don’t be misled, my dear brothers and sisters.   1 Corinthians 10: 12, 13 CEB Those who think they are standing need to watch out or else they may fall. 13 No temptation has seized you that isn’t common for people. But God is faithful. He won’t allow you to be tempted beyond your abilities. Instead, with the temptation, God will also supply a way out so that you will be able to endure it.

Five Standard Jewish Prayers Jesus taught us to pray to Father God: Help us to honor you. Your kingdom come; your will be done, on earth as in heaven. Give us the bread we need for today. Forgive us as we forgive others. Save us in the time of trouble and deliver us from the evil one.
