BACK Better know as the “Peaceful Giants”, African Elephants are the largest land creations in the world. They are found in 37 countries in African. These creatures are able to coexist with other wildlife on the savannah. The only natural predators are the occasional hyena or lion pack that may attack young, sick or old elephants. Due to living and moving in herds elephants look out for one another in their natural habitat. However African Elephants are a threatened species due to human predators both destroying their habitat (deforestation) and being hunted by poachers for their ivory tusks.
