Sustaining a New Island in Southeast Asia Title Sustaining a New Island in Southeast Asia

The Context A new island the size of Penang has emerged from the South China Sea as a result of changes to the earth. You are the founders of a new country in Southeast Asia.

Scenario 1 (30 mins) Being the new nation’s founders, build a 3-D model of your visionary capital city for sustainable & responsible living of your beloved citizens. State your reasons of having such plans.

Scenario 2 (60 mins) If one of the structures you built is as big as RECSAM Park, draw a map of the capital city of your country on a piece of mahjong paper, according to scale. Calculate the actual build-up areas of some of the structures.

Scenario 3 (15 mins) Evaluate each other’s plan of a model country in terms of local & global sustainable and responsible development using the assessment form given to you.

Scenario 4 (5 min) Read the instruction on the piece of paper given to you.
