Frank and Pedro from the Kirkholt Maker Space: “This place used to be a no-go area. But a lot has changed. We all feel more proud of where we live. Our young people need opportunities, motivation and lots of support. The Citizens’ Curriculum has made a massive difference to some of those young people who would otherwise have written themselves off. Instead of committing crimes and damaging themselves with drugs and alcohol, they are now in learning, in work and supporting each other. We’re really pleased about the difference it’s made and looking forward to seeing more of this.”
