Keller and Virgil Exner and of course, The Dodge Brothers who added their unique style and recklessness. Back in the day, buyers discovered quickly that the Dodge definition of "dependable" meant thousands of miles without major repairs, partly due to the brothers' hands-on approach to product testing. They personally dropped tires from the roof of their factory to test casings. John Dodge once drove a car into a brick wall at 20 miles per hour, explaining, as he staggered off, that he wanted to know what would happen when some other fool did it.
