Prime & Bond® 2.1 & SureFil® Class II Material: Prime & Bond 2.1 with SureFil Packable Composite Title: Clinical Evaluation of Project 168 (SureFil) Composite with Fluoride for Restoration of Class II Carious Lesions of Permanent Molars. Principle Investigators: Drs. G. Kugel & Ronald D. Perry Type of Restorations: Class II 2-year Results: 16 Patients; 22 Restorations; (% alpha—highest rating): Retention (100%), Sensitivity (100%), Color Stability (100%), Marginal Integrity (91%), Marginal Leakage (100%), Surface Staining (73%), Secondary Caries (100%), Abrasion resistance (100%), Surface texture (100%), Proximal Contact (100%). Summary: Wear results observed for SureFil High Density Posterior Restorative were minimal, and well within the acceptable range of 50 microns per year. SureFil restorations showed satisfactory values in all categories using Cvar and Ryge criteria. 22 Class II restorations, 2-year results

Prime & Bond® 2.1 & SureFil® Class II Material: Prime & Bond 2.1 with Surefil Packable Composite Title: Clinical Evaluation of a Condensable Light Cured Posterior Composite Resin. Principle Investigators: Drs. Daniel Fortin & André Prévost Type of Restorations: Class II 3-year Results: 20 Patients; 39 Restorations; (% alpha—highest rating): Retention (100%), Sensitivity (95%), Anatomical Form (97%), Color Stability (100%), Marginal Adaptation (84%), Marginal Discoloration (89%), Secondary Caries (100%), Surface Roughness (87%), Proximal Contact (100%). Summary: At 3 years, we can state that SureFil is an efficient and safe material for use in Class II restorations on permanent premolars and molars. 39 Class II restorations, 3-year results

Prime & Bond® 2.1 & SureFil® Class I & II Material: Prime & Bond 2.1 with SureFil Packable Composite Title: Clinical Evaluation of a new Condensable Posterior Composite (SureFil). Principle Investigators: Drs. A. D. Wilder, S. C. Bayne, J. Perdigao Type of Restorations: Class I and II 5-year Results: 21 Patients; 37 Restorations; (% alpha—highest rating): Retention (100%), Sensitivity (97%), Color Match (95%), Marginal Adaptation (86%), Marginal Discoloration (73%),Secondary Caries (92%), Occlusal Wear (89%), Surface texture (89%), Proximal Contact (97%), Functional Occlusion (97%), Axial contour (97%) Fracture Resistance (98%). Summary: SureFil restorative was esthetic and user-friendly. The restorations demonstrated very good clinical performance at 5 years and continued to pass both the 1989 and 2001 ADA guidelines for composite use as an “unconditional” amalgam-replacement material. 37 Class I & II restorations, 5-year results

Prime & Bond® 2.1 & SureFil® Class I & II Material: Prime & Bond 2.1 with SureFil Packable Composite Title: Clinical Evaluation of a Condensable Light Cured Composite Resin (SureFil). Principle Investigators: Dr. Makoto Suzuki Type of Restorations: Class I and II 5-year Results: 23 Patients; 58 Restorations; (% alpha—highest rating): Retention (98%), Sensitivity (100%), Color Match (100%), Marginal Discoloration (75%), Secondary Caries (100%), Surface texture (98%), Proximal Contact (87%). Average Wear Values: 1-yr. (0µm, n=68), 2-yr (<25µm, n=58), 3-yr (25 to 50µm, n=58), 4-yr (50µm, n=55), and 5-yr (61.4µm, n=58) Summary: Condensable light cured composite (SureFil) continued to demonstrate excellent clinical performance after 5 years. 58 Class I & II restorations, 5-year results

Prime & Bond® 2.1 & TPH® Spectrum Class V Material: Prime & Bond 2.1 restored with TPH Spectrum or Dyract Title: Clinical evaluation of the Prime and Bond 2.1 adhesive system. Principle Investigator: Mark A. Latta Type of Restorations: Class V 18-Month Results: TPH Spectrum, 55 Restorations (% alpha—highest rating): Retention (89%), Sensitivity (100%), Color Match (88%), Marginal Integrity (69%), Marginal Discoloration (92%), and Secondary Caries (100%). Summary: Excellent retention rate for all materials tested with P&B 2.1 55 Class V restorations, 18 month results

Prime & Bond® 2.1 & Dyract® AP Class V Material: Prime and Bond 2.1 restored with TPH Spectrum or Dyract Title: Clinical evaluation of the Prime and Bond 2.1 adhesive system. Principle Investigator: Mark A. Latta Type of Restorations: Class V 18-Month Results: Dyract, 42 Restorations (% alpha—highest rating): Retention (95%), Sensitivity (100%), Color Match (95%), Marginal Integrity (71%), Marginal Discoloration (85%), and Secondary Caries (98%). 42 Class V restorations, 18 month results
