Year 4 Residential to Burwardsley Wednesday 13th April – Friday 15th April

What is the centre like? Bedrooms Adventure playground Dining/common room Centre layout

What are we going to be doing? Celtic house

What are we going to be doing? Den building

What are we going to be doing? Willow weaving

What are we going to be doing? Bonfire and toasting marshmallows

What will we be eating? Breakfast A selection of cereals, juice and yoghurts are in the dining room for you to help yourselves to, followed by a hot option served at 8.15 am. Lunch (Packed lunch from home on Wednesday) Lunch is sandwiches, crisps, fruit or yoghurt and a hot option which is served at 12.30 pm Evening Meal The main meal is 2 course meal with 2 options usually served at 4.45 pm. Snacks Tea, coffee, squash, milk, hot chocolate, biscuits and toast are available at all times from the dining room

What do I need to take? Kit List

How will I be safe? Children will have a 30 minute safety talk when they get there. This will include a tour of the building and what to do if there is a fire. Children wear high visibility jackets when out of the centre grounds. Children will be supervised by Havannah staff at all times and adults sleep in the room next door. School has used the centre many times and a full risk assessment has been carried out and approved.
