Year 1 Beeston Sleepover Mrs Fearn, Mrs Kitson and Mrs Henderson 1

Tuesday 17th May – Wednesday 18th May 2016

Outline of Day 1 Arrive to school as normal (but with a suitcase and packed lunch!) Set off around 9.30am expecting to arrive at Beeston at around 10.30am. Get shown around the site – safety talk/ choose beds/ unpack etc – We will have a guide Lunch - Play on the adventure playground Mr Bull’s farm Dinner Bonfire – singing, marshmallows Stories with teddies/ Bedtime

At Mr Bull’s farm. We will see the cows in their stalls, being milked and the calves. 5

After the farm it’s back to the centre, time for tea After the farm it’s back to the centre, time for tea! Choice of meals available, normally, pasta bolognaise or home-made pizza, followed by home-made cakes. Bonfire time! Hot chocolate! Stories and bedtime/ cuddles/ toilet runs / sips of water on hand if needed! We will message school with updates and photos from the day!

Outline of Day 2 Wash and dress – help on hand if needed Pack – Again help if needed! Strip beds – With no children getting lost in the duvet covers! Breakfast – cereal/ toast/ bacon Making dens/ shelters in the wood – with a guide and 3 members of staff

After lunch (sandwiches, sausage rolls, crisps, drinks, cakes) we will set off for home!

First Aid – We are all fully trained and will have our box with inhalers and first aid kit with us. Kit list- letter to go home – This will list everything that you need to bring. Risk assessment – I will be going to Beeston and will carry out a full risk assessment. I will have a tour by the guide there and a run through of all the activities. I will sleep in one of the staff dorms and Mrs Henderson and Mrs Kitson in the other. We all have children ourselves and have well trained ears to listen out for any children! Our doors will be left open should any child need us in the night.
