Frank Cady The Olean Times Herald has honored him by presenting a softball coach each year with the Frank Cady Big 30 Coach of the Year Award. In 2008 he was inducted into the Allegany County Hall of Fame. In 1991 he was chosen as the Wellsville Chamber of Commerce Man of the Year.

Moved to Wellsville in 1970 where he served the school and community for thirty-two years. He was recognized as the doctor of the football team while he served as their athletic trainer for over 20 years. Don Insley

For 14 years he was well recognized as the boys high school basketball official scorekeeper. He was involved with Wellsville youth athletics as a coach, trainer, and official for over 30 years! Don Insley

Helped organize and served as one of the original officers of the Wellsville Sports Boosters Club. He was the founder of the Village of Wellsville Youth and Recreation Department. He was a pillar in the Wellsville sports community. Don Insley
