My Favorite Myth King Midas Hercules Achilles Pandora Pandora’s Box, King Midas, Achilles and Hercules are only some of the many Greek myths. Pandora’s Box would qualify for my favorite myth. Let me explain why. King Midas Hercules Achilles Pandora

In this myth, Zeus was being sneaky when he gave Epimetheus and Pandora the box with deceit, jealousy and sickness, the evils. Zeus gave them the box because Epimetheus and Prometheus made humans that Zeus didn’t like and used Zeus’ fire even though he forbade them to. So, Zeus got angry and sent Prometheus to an eternity of suffering and punished Epimetheus by giving him the box with evils.

Oh no, what did she do? In the end, deceit, jealousy and sickness were talking in sweet voices so that Pandora would open the box to let them out even though Zeus forbade her too. They were saying things like “The next door neighbor Alexandros got to open his box from Zeus.” and “Zeus wants you to open the box.” Since Zeus made Pandora caring, she thought that they really needed her help so she opened the box. This was the worst for her because before she let them out no one aged, and no one lied. She felt horrible! But, all of the sudden, she found hope on the floor. We are all thankful that she let hope out the window too!

King Midas, Achilles, Hercules and Pandora’s Box are only some of the million myths out there. Pandora is my favorite myth because of the exciting characters and the plot in the story. Pandora’s Box was an interesting myth even though King Midas, Hercules and Achilles were all interesting too.
