Hydrographic Office Technical point of contact: Autorité portuaire des Comores (APC) / service hydrographie et environnement - Phares et Balises Regulatory Administation Administration nationale des affaires maritimes (ANAM) On-going discussion for coordination of national hydrographic responsibilities Bilateral agreement with France (Shom) for supporting Union of Comoros with regard to Solas obligation

Maritime context Increasing maritime traffic Maritime Safety Information (MSI) -The Comoros Port Authority works together with the coast guard to ensure the MSI -Problems encountered Old communication equipment No survey equipement Renewal of navigation aids
