What customers tell other customers… Many of the kinks have been worked out with newer versions (9.2+) of the Automated Indexing module. OCR success rate has been improved with engine and configuration tweaks. I would guess 99%+ success rate excluding errors related to the document itself (bad print quality, text movement outside of the zone, text blending into zone etc.). It does take some practice with zone placement and settings to get good results. You will have to be patient. Overall we are happy with the module though. You can me at if you have any questions. We went live with Automated indexing about a month ago. I will admit that getting those fields "just right" can take some time, and our scanner staff have learned to make sure the docs are lined up proper. Otherwise, we love it. Were looking at about 75% reduction in indexing and Im sure that number will increase as we tweak the templates. Were on Ive given the departments the ability to adjust their own index templates (we do a distributed scan model). Thats taken a significant workload off myself.
