Risk Factors for STIs having unprotected sex having multiple partners having a history of STIs abusing alcohol or other drugs injecting drugs being an adolescent female some STIs can leave a person INFERTILE (also known as STERILE) for the rest of their lives
Testing for STIs can be done with tissue, urine and/or blood doctors office, at-home kits, clinics Treatment depends on the infection, but may be possible through prescription antibiotics
NOT HAVE SEXUAL INTERCOURSE Preventing STIs the ONLY way to be 100% sure you will not get an STI is to.... NOT HAVE SEXUAL INTERCOURSE condoms are the second most effective
