Madrid, Spain Madrid is in Spain. Its population is 3.3 million. Madrid is Spain’s capital. It is also one of the largest cities of Spain. Its the third largest city in the European Union after the London And Berlin.In 1383, Leo VI of Amernia was named Lord of Madrid by King John I of Castile. Many of Madrid’s buildings look like castles. I would like to go to Madrid to visit, The Royal Place of Madrid. It is the official residence of the Spanish Royal Family. Another place I would like to visit would be The Plaza Mayor. It was built during Philip III reign 1598-1621. Its a central plaza. Its located only a few spanish blocks away from another famous plaza The Puerta del Sol. Its also surrounded by 3 residential buildings, the buildings have 237 balconies facing the plaza.

Bogotá, Colombia Colombia is in South America. Bogota is Colombia’s capital. Its population is 46,245,297. The currency that they use is called a “peso”. Something I would like to see in Colombia is Bogota. Bogota was once a dangerous and crime ridden city. I would also like to see The Police Museum, The Police Museum is where you can see an exhibit about the chase and death of Pablo Escobar. The Police Museum was built in 1923. It contains weapons that Pablo actually used. That is why I would like to see Colombia.

Lisbon, Portugal Portugal is in Europe. Lisbon is its capital. Its population is 10,813,834. The human develop index is 41 of 187 countries. Something I would like to see in Portugal is the Belem Tower. The Torre De Belem ( Belem Tower ) is located in Lisbon. The Belem Tower is Lisbon’s most iconic landmark. It was built in the 16th century. It was built in the Tagus River. It was also built to control the entrance to the city from the sea. King John II was the one with the idea of building a fortress near Belem.

It became Roman in 52 BC. I would like to go to Paris to see the Eiffel Tower. I would also like to go see Disneyland, Paris. Euro Disney Resort, is an entertainment resort in Marne-La-Vallec. Its the most visited attraction in all of France and Europe. It was planned to be built in 1975, nine years after Walt Disney died. Thats why I would like to go to Paris.

Compton, California Compton is in California. Its population is 97,877. Its a city in southern Los Angeles County, California, U.S. Its situated south of downtown Los Angeles. Compton is one of the oldest cities in the county. On May 11, 1888 was the 8th city to incorporate. I would like to go because of the big skateboarding parks that they have there. A place I would like to go see is “ The Watts Tower”, its consisting of 17 major sculptures. It was constructed between 1921 and 1954 by Italian immigrant Simon Piodia. It has become an iconic monument to the city, and is owned by California, and managed by Los Angeles. That is why I would like to visit Compton.
