In your table groups Read aloud your Dr. Seuss book Then, on your paper, practice scansion with the lines. Once you have determined which scansion it is, move on to the next book. Try to Complete all 5 books. Then choose one of Dr. Seuss’s meter and write your own poem in meter. It can be as silly or as serious as you want REMEMBER, change the meter with purpose. Helpful hint: it may be beneficial to write down one stanza and physically mark it up
