English One Vocab Nine

Accountable (for) Adjective Means “responsible (for) an action or decision” Darth Vader will be held accountable for the evil things he has done.

Entice Verb To tempt Jabba the Hut enticed the Rancor with fresh meat by causing Luke to fall through the trap door.

Erode Verb To wear away (over time) The Jedi temple eroded over thousands of years.

Flounder Verb To move around clumsily/to struggle Think of the way a fish out of water moves Jar Jar flounders whenever he is asked to do something, so he usually messes it up.
