brood Verb: broods, brooded, brooding “To focus on/think about things that make you unhappy” Adjective: “Brooding” After the loss, he brooded about the fact that he missed the field goal.

CULMINATE Verb (culminates, culminating, culminated) Means "to result in" I trained hard for six months, which culminated in a new personal record bench press.

Console Verb Consoled, consoles, consoling Means “To make someone feel better” He consoled his crying daughter by giving her a hug.

Second evidence: Another reason that the narrator is a… Choose a different thing that also shows that he is a good or bad brother Second Analysis/Explanation Again, explain how this new evidence also makes him good or bad.

Third Paragraph (Body Paragraph Two): Counterargument: This is where you acknowledge why someone might disagree with you and then try to bring them back to your side. (About 4-6 sentences)   Some people might argue that the narrator is… (the opposite of what you’ve claimed about him) For example, he does… (Give a specific example of a thing he does that fits with the opposite of your thesis) While this is true, it doesn’t mean that he is… (Now explain why that doesn’t actually disprove what you have been saying about the narrator). (Should be more than one sentence!)

Finite Adjective Means "Limited” or “having an end” Infinite: Unlimited or without end There is a finite amount of water available for us to use.

Miscellaneous Adjective Means "mixed" or "of different kinds" No conjugation I have a collection of miscellaneous cartoon action figures.

Procrastinate Verb Means "to put things off till later” If you procrastinate on this assignment, you will regret it.
