NOTES: Behavior What are the types of learned behavior? Do plants show behaviors?

Notes: Learned Behavior Imprinting – Animals have instinct to follow the first object they see, but they learn which object they are supposed to follow. This keeps young animals close to their mother for food and protection.

Notes: Learned Behavior Conditioning Learning that a particular stimulus or response leads to a certain outcome (good OR bad).

Notes: Learned Behavior Trial and error – an animal learns to perform a behavior more and more skillfully.

Notes: Learned Behavior Insight learning – applying what you already know to solve a new problem.
