Presentation transcript:

Taken from the white ribbon campaign website: White Ribbon UK was founded in 2007. Our Mission To end male violence against women, once and for all. We engage men in calling out violent, bullying behaviour amongst their peers, and spreading a message of equality and respect. Whilst we have inequality in our society, it's vital that we encourage men to recognise and stand against sexism and gender-based violence in all forms. Lead by example, take the White Ribbon pledge. Sign up to be one of our White Ribbon Ambassadors and get our message everywhere it needs to be heard.

Pledges I will tell my friends about the campaign I will treat others with respect and dignity I will always respect my partner and myself I will challenge sexist jokes and language I will support others I will learn more about the campaign and what it stands for I will teach my brothers and sisters to always respect others I will promote the campaign on social media I will wear my white ribbon with pride and tell others I will no longer remain silent I will not be a part of an unhealthy relationship I will encourage my friends to speak up if they feel uncomfortable about something they have been asked to do I will ask for help if I need it I will not use social media in a hurtful way I will value my male and female friends equally
