Class News Miss Sunder’s September 7, 2016 Learning Targets: A Note from the Teacher What We ARE LEARNING... Happy September! Please make sure you are checking your child’s green folder each day. The papers that have a star or checkmark are papers that are sent home because they have been graded and/or checked. Please make sure homework is getting returned in your child’s homework folder. This helps keeps papers organized  Tests are each Friday – it is imperative that students are at school so they do not miss tests Learning Targets: ELA Read consonant blends & digraphs Read words with inflected endings –s & -ing Identify main idea & details of a story Read Sight Words Math Count on to find the missing addend Understand the meaning of the equal sign by pairing equivalent expressions & making true number sentences Intro to the commutative property Homework reminder Homework was sent home today Monday, 9/6 & needs to be returned Tuesday, 9/12. Children should be reading & practicing sight words each night. Dates to remember September 9th Half Day Thank You, Miss Sunder
