who is ibn sina ‘’avicenna’’? His name  Al-Ḥusayn ibn ʿAbd Allah ibn Sina. He was born c. 980 in a village near Bukhara (in present-day Uzbekistan) Known in the field of medicine and philosophy. He wrote almost 450 treatises. Author of 200 books on various subjects.
