Point to the webmail section on right, where they can set up mobile access to their weichert.com email if they aren’t forwarding to another provider. The “Sales Associate Resources” tool bar is the easiest way to locate tools offered by W University, Marketing and W Design – all in one place. Most new associates have a goal – a certain income level, but not a plan of activities to reach that goal. This program will create the plan for you. Set up your business Email account in WeichertPRO… PRO will check your Email Inbox and look for Email addresses that match your contacts. When found, it will put a copy of the messages into your contact’s Email folder. In this example, the client has 2 email addresses and all correspondence from and to either address is stored under the Email tab in her folder. First, check your Webmail set up… If not set up, follow the prompts. If already set up, click on Webmail

Read & accept the user agreement The system will assign you a username (typically your first initial, last name)

You have TWO choices: Use your branded Weichert.com Email account for business and keep your personal account separate. Set up your mobile device to include your Weichert Emails Add your Weichert Email address to WeichertPRO B. Forward your Weichert.com Email account to your personal account, to view in one place Set up your Weichert messages to forward to your other account Do NOT save messages in your weichert.com Inbox Add this Email address to WeichertPRO

If you choose Option A… There is NO charge for this service Set up Mobile Access to receive your weichert.com email messages on your smartphone: You will have to call the Help Desk to receive a mobile password. 973-290-5722 WRITE IT DOWN! That will be required to set up your emails in WeichertPRO

Complete the Mobile Access Set up… The “Mobile Sync” process only sends the messages from the Weichert.com inbox to your phone. It DOESN’T sync anything else. This is the only way to receive these emails on your phone, and keep them separate from your other accounts. We don’t have time to complete the process now, but make sure you finish it later today. After this workshop, return to the Webmail set up and click “Mobile Sync” 4. You will be prompted to select the type of phone you have, then follow the steps to add this inbox to your phone.

If you choose Option B… From you Inbox, you will have the option to forward your messages to another account 1. From your Inbox, click on the menu button and select “Settings”

From the Settings Options, select “Incoming Email” 3. Click the “Forwarding” tab

1. Select “Status On” and enter the full Email address that your Weichert messages will be sent to Because the space is limited in this system, its best NOT to save messages here. Once you set up your email account in PRO, that system will take care of Saving messages and organizing them for you. The storage is in the “cloud” so there are no space issues. 2. Click “Save” To prevent this inbox from filling up and returning to manage the amount of messages, do NOT save copies of forwarded emails here.

Now, let’s create your Business Plan

Let’s create your Business Plan… From the home page of WeichertOne, scroll down to Weichert University. Click on “Business Planning”

3. Go to Step 2 and click on Complete Your Business Plan 3. Go to Step 2 and click on Complete Your Business Plan. You will be prompted to sign in again.

The program will start by asking if you want to work from your baseline. Since this is your first plan, select “Skip Baseline”. Answer all of the 24 questions honestly Each question will ask if you plan to participate in a recommended sales activity, and how often. Your responses should be based on the amount of time you plan to dedicate to your real estate business this year If you need clarification on any of the questions, please ask We will take 15 minutes to complete the plan individually.

When you have completed the questionnaire, STOP when you come to the Income Calculator below Ask (or you might know) what the average sale price is in their office/area. Calculate the buyer’s agent side of the commission: Ex: $400.000 sale x 2.5% = 10,000 50% split with Weichert = $5,000 average commission check. **You may have to do a few different calculations depending on your group. Tell them to speak to their manager afterward, and adjust accordingly. Based on our estimate of the average sale price in your office, we will determine the average commission check, using a 50/50 split. When you review this plan with your manager, s/he can help you make the correct adjustments for a more accurate Income goal.

Fill in the Average Commission Check and the number of transactions is calculated Use the sliding scale on the top to adjust the annual income so it lines up with your goal. Use the drop down arrows to adjust the number of Sales or Listings you expect to obtain, based on this plan In the first year of business, the average Sales Associate typically completes more Sales transactions than Listings sold.

Your Sales Activities are now scheduled on a monthly calendar Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Next

Their managers will receive an email that the plan has been completed. Remind the associates to make an appointment with their managers to review The plan and make adjustments for their particular office/region, making it as realistic as possible. Your Business Plan is Complete! Now Sync the Sales Activities to your WeichertPRO Calendar by clicking the tab above “Sync to WeichertPRO”

Start your day by logging in. On this one page, you can… See what is on your calendar for the next few days… Read & Answer Email Messages Check the latest news headlines from any one of these 6 sources

Check Online Traffic for Your listings and pull reports for any Weichert listing The “Listing Tool” section if fed from Weichert.com Gives you access to ALL Active Listings on the site

Let’s start with customizing your settings

First, add your business Email account

Click on Add Email Account Select your Email provider, then click Next

If you are using your Weichert If you are using your Weichert.com Email account, you will need your Mobile Access Password to complete this process.

If you are adding your Gmail account, you will be taken to Google to allow access.

Next, edit “My Personal Info”

1. This address is for internal purposes – the address your leads will be sent to or messages will come to from WLN/WRN. 1. 2. 3. 2. This address is your external Email, the address your contacts will reply to when you Email from PRO. 3. This is the name that will appear in the From field on all your outgoing emails sent from WeichertPRO. Select something that brands you as a Weichert agent – without using any special characters.

Every time you make a change in WeichertPRO , you Must click SAVE or UPDATE. If the change was accepted, you will receive the green “Success” message above.

Next, customize your Calendar Reminders

1. “Upcoming Appointments” controls the number of events & tasks that will appear on your dashboard when you log in. Reduce the time frame to a manageable list.

2. “Business Hours” controls the time slots available to add appointments to your PRO calendar. Use the drop down arrows so you can schedule all your personal & business appointments.

3. Up to 3 “Default Reminders” can be scheduled for every appointment on your PRO calendar. Click on “Add Reminder”

Choose the type of Reminder: Email, Alert (will appear as a pop up when you are logged into PRO), or Text Message, using the drop down arrows. Select the time increment prior to the appointment, that you want the reminder to be sent (Email 1 hour before the scheduled appointments). Add more reminders by clicking “Add Reminder” again

Final Reminder Setting: Daily Agenda To receive an email list of your appointments and tasks scheduled for the day Don’t Forget!

Lets customize the Calendar Events

By default you will see the Day view By default you will see the Day view. To change to the month at a glance, click on “Month” at the top right corner. Your business plan activities won’t post until next month, click the right arrow at the top left to move to next month’s calendar.

Your Business Plan sales activites are populated onto your calendar for each month of the year. They will appear as a “business activity” – like a place holder that you can edit.

Find the first “Sales Meeting” event and double-click on it to open the edit window. Click “Edit Details” Select “All Events in the series” which will apply your changes to each Sales Meeting event thru the year

Click on “Task” to open up option to add a start and finish time to the appointment. Next to “Repeat” click on Edit if you need to change the appointment to another weekday (Wednesday meetings).

8. Your default reminders do not attach to imported events, you can add one here. 9. Don’t forget to SAVE

10. Double click on the first Friday of the month. 11. Follow the same steps to add a new event to your calendar. Continue to work with the calendar and customize your schedule. Refer to the Sales Planner we completed in Session 2.

Stay on Track by Syncing your Mobile Device to the PRO Calendar Scheduling and managing your time: Recurring prospecting time slots Slots for new customer appointments Open Houses Viewing homes Personal Appointments The prospecting activities you set up from the Business Plan, will be added to the PRO calendar. Today we will set up the calendar reminders, so your daily agenda will be emailed to you each morning.
