Mathematics Education B.A. Latin American Studies RESEARCH INTERESTS My teaching and research interests include: Student-centered math instruction Teachers’ beliefs and attitudes about math teaching and learning Indian Education for All TEACHING & SERVICE HIGHLIGHTS: I am the co-PI on “Math in Action: Career-Oriented Kits for Upper Elementary,” a grant project funded by the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics and the Mary P. Dolciani Halloran Foundation. The project aims to increase upper-elementary students’ interest in mathematics by exposing them to the mathematics used in careers across Montana.
