Design Concept
Current State of Design Design meets all desired customer needs Design meets all engineering specs for fully integrated system and subsystems On target to meet project budget Schedule: Final drawings with specs complete 1 week behind on mechanical system design BOM will be completed by 2/29 Mitigations: Long lead time for conveyor(3-4 weeks) order over break
Revisions
Risk Assessment Schedule Oil becoming trapped inside top of part Mitigation: altering pin design as required Removal of excess oil stage Mitigation: testing different layouts, ordering more if required Maintaining cleanliness of oil in tub Mitigation: plug in the oil tub, oil filters, rubber flaps Lack of experience with power electronics. Mitigation: consult as much as possible with professionals, and increase testing/debug timeframe.
