Qualifications Active duty, active drill status in guard or reserve (no ING or IRR) High School diploma or GED Cannot be on any ROTC scholarship (tuition or housing) Cannot have any active FLAGS 1 Year from AIT/BOLC graduation date 10 Years Service for Masters (if FTA used for undergraduate)

Soldier Responsibility Time Restrictions FTA requests can be submitted up to 60 days prior to course start date Course requests MUST be APPROVED before course start date Requests must be submitted 10 days prior to course start date If a course is requested even one day late, FTA cannot be approved

Withdraw for Military Reasons 1. Unanticipated military mission, to include unanticipated Federal or State missions for National Guard Soldiers who are involuntarily mobilized 2. Emergency leave Death of a family member Illness/hospitalization as endorsed by my Battalion Commander or first LTC in the chain of command; or by my Unit Commander if in the Reserve Component for each class. **3 years from course end date to request WM** IMPORTANT!
