Genre Journey

Genre Journey Requirements Everyone must read 3 Newspaper Articles (or online articles) per 9 weeks Read a variety of books from different subgenres Your goal for the number of books to be read will be determined by the teacher & student.

Grades for the Genre Journey You will have 2 (40% grades) per 9 weeks taken from your participation in the Genre Journey. 1st grade: You will complete 4 One-Pagers per 9 weeks (I will average your grade.) Example: If you made a 77%, 86%, 92%, and 60%, your one-pager grade would be a 79%. 2nd grade: Informal Book Talk

6th Grade Dual Language 2 of your 4 one-pagers must be completed in Spanish.
