Department of Psychology Vision Statement To grow thoughtful servant leaders steeped in a holistic understanding of behavior. Mission Statement To advance the understanding, creation, communication, and application of psychological knowledge by our students, to benefit society and improve people's lives, with a special responsibility for teaching the history, culture, and role of Black people in the psychological sciences.

Who are we? 4th Largest Major in the Division of Science and Mathematics #1 Producer of African American males with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology 62% of our alumni enroll in a degree granting program post Morehouse #1 Producer of Black males enrolled in doctoral programs
