Collaborative Initiative for Paediatric HIV Education and Research Research Grant Programme ANNOUNCEMENT OF 2014 GRANTEES Dr Linda-Gail Bekker & Dr Françoise Barré-Sinoussi CEREMONY STARTS AT 8:10 The implementation of CIPHER is possible through an unrestricted grant from ViiV Healthcare. The content and structure of the project is guided by paediatric experts convened by the IAS.

CIPHER Grant Programme Aim Address targeted priority clinical and operational research gaps in paediatric HIV Support evidence-informed clinical, policy and programmatic decision making Support early-stage investigators Research in resource-limited settings Grants Up to US$75,000 for up to two years ($150,000 maximum) First round launched at AIDS 2013 146 Letters of intent received, 24 short-listed US 1 million awarded to 7 grantees in 2013! 2 additional grants awarded in 2014
