Membership and Communications Officer Manage the Dartington Membership offer, including event organisation and representation, CRM development and administration. Undertake media monitoring and analysis and provide a regular publicity listings service. Provide staff cover for Visitor Centre and lend support on website and social content. SOME OF THE MAIN THINGS YOU’LL BE DOING: Creatively develop and manage the delivery of a Membership scheme undergoing continual enhancement. This will include organising regular ‘Member Conversation’ engagement events and an Annual Members meeting as well as liaising with colleagues internally to oversee postal mailings and Membership admin (including reminder/renewal contact). Manage and develop the membership database and update a process manual for the scheme. Undertake media monitoring, recording and analysis and the dissemination of publicity and listings information to an expanding number of outlets. Responsible for providing cover for Visitor Centre lunchbreaks and on weekdays when regular hosts are on leave. This list can never be exhaustive but covers most of the work you’ll be doing. What it can’t replace is talent, initiative and a commitment to great customer service. You’ll be flexible and possess the ability to change in line with an evolving organisation. ROLE DETAILS: DEPARTMENT: Communications REPORTING TO: Head of Communications WHAT YOU WILL BRING: Specialist practical skills in Spektrix CRM or display a strong commitment to learn and develop in this area Excellent administrative skills and ability to develop and maintain processes on own initiative Excellent organisational and time management skills Creative flair in support of the Membership offer Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to forge and maintain good working relationships Well-developed customer service (internal and external), a positive ‘can do’ attitude and a willingness to ensure all who come into contact with Dartington have the best possible experience A good understanding of and work towards the purpose, values and strategy of Dartington at a time of change A good work ethos and a desire to act in Dartington’s best interests at all times.
