Review: Numbers under 1,000 Teens / Tens When saying numbers 13-19, we stress (say strongly to show it is important) the teen part of the word. When saying tens (e.g., 30, 40, 50) we the first part of the word. thirteen / thirty eighteen / eighty Hundreds 153 = one hundred (and) fifty-three 100 = one hundred 702 = seven hundred (and) two 690 = six hundred (and) ninety 321 = three hundred (and) twenty-one * Remember! Some people say ‘and’ with the number, but some people do not say ‘and’.
