Target group and the duration of the project Target group Teachers of foreign languages and students acquiring the qualification of a foreign language teacher in French, German, English, or Russian (as a major or a minor) Duration: from 01.10.2017 to 30.09.2020

Aim To raise the number of foreign language teachers (up to 100) who have acquired the certificate of an internationally recognized examination at the CEF level of B2, C1, C2

English Language Examinations in English Cambridge English Qualifications (B2 First, C1 Advanced, C2 Proficiency); The International English Language Testing System (IELTS)* (at least band 5.5 on the 9- band scale); Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) iBT* (at least 72 points on the 120-point scale); Pearson Test of English General (Level 3 ‒ B2, Level 4 ‒ C1, Level 5 ‒ C2). * The certificate is valid for 2 years

C1 Advanced Statement of Results Level C1 Level B2 Level C2

All candidates will receive a Statement of Results three to four weeks after sitting the exam. These are available on-line from the candidate support website, or are issued by the centre where they took the exam. The Statement of Results gives information about individual paper performance and a new overall score as well as the overall grade (YLE candidates do not get an overall grade). NB! Certificates are issued within three months of sitting the exam.

Certificate All candidates receive a Statement of Results. Candidates whose performance ranges between CEFR Level B2 and C2 also receive a Certificate. Grade A: Scores of 200 – 210. Ability at level C2. Grade B: Scores of 193 – 199. Ability at Level C1. Grade C: Scores of 180 – 192. Ability at Level C1. CEFR Level B2: Scores of 160 – 179.
