Cattle Trails As the United States headed toward the turn of the century (moving from 1800s to 1900s), our country was changing. Follow the slide show to learn more!

Black Cowboys of Texas 13th Amendment gave former slaves freedom. Many wanted to travel to the Old West. The West represented a new beginning.
