Something that a majority of scholars agree on at any given time. FACTS OPINIONS Something that a majority of scholars agree on at any given time. A fact can change. An idea or belief without enough evidence to make it a fact.

Fact or opinion? Cell phones make daily life easier. 75% of teens 12‐17 years old own cell phones. Washington, D.C. is the Capital City of the United States. Abraham Lincoln was the best president the United States has ever had. Pluto is not a planet. Italian is an easier language to learn than Spanish. George Washington was the U.S.’s first president. Football is a violent sport. Smoke detectors can help save lives. The more involved students are in school the higher their success rates.
