Standardizations Standardization allows for the ability to create a global governance model & reduces the strain on resources having to learn multiple systems & processes. Decentralized models exhibit the least amount of global standardization (46% less) than other models as a consequence deliver a higher cost to maintain. Process Standardization

Technology & Automation A decentralized model has the least amount of integration and self-service than other models (14% less). Global technologies have a much higher ability to connect with other systems allowing organizations to build a user friendly eco system. Automation reduces errors and increases productivity for end users making for a better workplace. Technology & Automation

Visibility & Access A decentralized payroll model is 63% less likely to have global visibility and control over the payroll process than other models. The most used self service function is pay statement access. The higher self service utilization, the quicker the realization to investment.
