New and Improved Deltona High 2018-2019 Curriculum Changes Hello DHS! This is Dr. Lapnow with a quick overview of some of the exciting offerings that are rolling out for the 2018-2019 school year. Your first period teacher should have provided you with a sign up sheet if you are interested in making changes based on these new courses for next year. You can also see our DHS Wolves webpage for more information, to view this presentation, and fill out a course change form based on these new classes. This is an exciting time to be a DHS student. You can open so many doors to your future based on what courses and programs you concentrate on now while you are in high school. We are hoping that many of these classes will help support your interests while in high school and your academic goals for after.

Digital Information Technology class Promotional Enterprise Program High School Technology Success 101 Develop awareness and immerse students in emerging technologies. Emphasis is placed on developing fundamental computer skills. Prepare students to be successful both personally and professionally Microsoft Office Suite Web design and communication skills Prep for the business world and general employability skills Digital Information Technology class Promotional Enterprise Program    One change for the 2018-2019 school year is the addition of a brand new program: Promotional Enterprise. This program focuses on technology and business and is a great addition to our CTE programs here on campus. We are looking forward to offering a class that will really help our students be successful not only in high school, but also in careers and college. The Digital Information Technology class is an elective being offered next year that focuses on the Microsoft package. You will learn how to completely utilize all of the tools in PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and Publisher and more. You will learn all of the digital tools to help you throughout your high school, college, and career. There is still time to sign up for this course for next year. Mr. Milazzo

DHS is bringing back our Orchestra program. If you play or are interested in playing a string instrument next year, you can sign up to take the class and be a part of our orchestra. American Sign Language We are also offering American Sign Language for the first time.
