Application through NATS The National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) portal for : Technical Institutions - to upload student database Establishments - to view information on how to enroll apprentices Employees of BOAT/BOPT - to send a list of candidates to industries or establishments Candidates or students - to enroll for the Apprenticeship Training Eligibility criteria to enroll as a trainee/apprentice: , Graduation or Diploma in any of following : (Engineering,pharmacy,architecture, hotel management & catering )

Enrollment of Student Click Save and Preview. The Preview & Confirm section appears. Check all the entered details and click Submit. The enrolment is completed and the Enrollment Successful page appears with Email ID, User ID and Password details.

Mandatory for all establishment if number of employee is more than 40. Institute/trust having less than 40 employee can also take apprenticeship trainees subjected to approval from the respective portal.

There are five categories of apprentices: trade apprentices, graduate apprentices, technician apprentices, technician(vocational) apprentices optional trade apprentices

Apprentice must fulfill the following: He/she has completed 14 years of age and fulfills other requirements of the Apprentices Act, 1961. Every apprentice has to register on the portal. Every apprentice must have an Aadhaar number. Must possess minimum age, educational and physical qualification prescribed for the trade
