Chutes No dropping of materials outside the building w/o protection (chute) Totally enclose chutes 45 degrees & greater End of chute guarded 2b
Masonry Removal Do not overload floors with materials from other floors or components Totally enclose chutes 45 degrees & greater Safe access to scaffolds & walkways required 2b
Floor Removal Provide adequate work surfaces for employees Minimum 2X10 (undressed) planks Openings less than 16” 3a
Using Equipment for Removal Check structure’s ability to support load Provide curbs to prevent driving over edge Meet all aspects of Subparts N & O 3b
Storage Debris on floors must not exceed allowable floor loads 3c
Mechanical Demolition Keep employees out of work area Remove heavy building attachments prior to demo Cut steel prior to pulling over Competent person must oversee job 3d
