Technical Approval Process Predefined outline Identification of the statistical activity (internal codes, previous versions and updates, unit responsible...); Rationale and justification for the new version (if applicable); Identification of needs, scope and financial resources involved; main general characteristics (type, sources, periodicity, geographical detail, main users, revisions, principal indicators, standard release date); Methodological items (population, sampling frame, observation unit, sample design, questionnaire design, collecting data – used method, definition of the period, use of proxies); Processing of data (analysis and validation, non-response, data adjustments, comparability and coherence, confidentiality); List of primary variables and data collection instruments; List of non primary variables; dissemination plan; List of concepts and classifications used.
