Client #1: Pharmaceutical Research Company Streamline Purchasing of Lab Supplies
Client Background and Request Purchasing Manager was tracking supply orders and receipts in Excel and entering AP Invoices. Needed a solution that would increase visibility of lab supplies being ordered. Solution needed to be easy to use for busy scientists and doctors in the lab Most Items are “Non-Inventory” but they use specific GL Accounts for supply type, projects and Departments. Needed Automate population of GL Account used
Original Suggested Solution Customized Cloud-Hosted Requisition Solution Pro’s: Easy to use for multiple users. Awesome Interface Integrates with GP Con’s: Would need customization to allow population of GL Accounts per line item, per PO. Super Expensive Relies on update and maintenance of items in GP. Most would be non-inventory so it was more than they needed at the this phase.
The Solution TitaniumGP allows users to create templates in Excel to upload Master Records and Transactions TitaniumGP has the ability to upload Inventory and Purchase Orders TitaniumGP was about 75% less than the initial cost of the other solution. (And the other solution would have required Customization and Monthly Fees per user)!

Final Thoughts Test, Test, Test!! Does not import automatically. Client 2 ended up adding another solution when the web orders grew to beyond the number they wanted to copy/paste Client 2 still uses the product to update Items and Price Lists

The business problem More than 5,100 items in inventory and 400+ customers Each item has a list price in both US and Canadian Dollars There are 9 price levels, reflecting various discounts off of list Approximately 30 customers have a fixed pricelist Some items do not get discounted
