PF - Name Correction / Updation procedure What is the process for correcting/updating my name in the PF records? Please fill up the name correction application ( Format attached below) , take a printout of the form , attach 1 photo id ( PAN/PASSPORT/AADHAR Card/ DRIVING LICENSE etc.) & handover the application with supporting documents to your location HR Team / IDU HR SPOC. If the name change is due to associate’s marriage then a copy of marriage certificate should also be attached to the application The TechMahindra PF Helpdesk shall attest the documents , attach some additional documents required on the company letterhead & shall submit the application to the PF office. You shall receive confirmation of submission from the PF Helpdesk Portal The PF office shall process the request. Please note that there are no standard timelines for closure of these applications. The only way to verify if the corrections have been effected is to check your name in the subsequent year’s PF statement released by the PF office MoM Calls
PF - Name Correction / Updation procedure 2. I had already updated / corrected my name in TechMahindra records. Why is it still reflecting incorrectly in PF records? Your PF account is created by the PF office based on the personal details available on your Date of Joining (DOJ). If you have updated/changed your name after your DOJ , then you shall have to submit a separate application for updation in the PF office records. MoM Calls
