Guzzler Needs Food Questions to promote discussion Where is Guzzler? How is Guzzler feeling? How do you know? Why is he feeling like this? What is he thinking? What foods can you see on the shelves?

Guzzler eats his lunch Questions to promote discussion Guzzler eats lots of food every day. Can you name some of the foods on Guzzler's plate? Is Guzzler having his breakfast or his lunch? Are these foods healthy foods - are they good for you? How many of these foods do you like to eat? Would you eat them all at one meal? How do you think Guzzler will feel when he has eaten his food? Will he have lots of energy? If you didn’t eat your lunch at lunchtime in school, how would you feel? What does your lunch give you? How does your food give you energy? What do you think Guzzler will do with all his energy when he has eaten his food?

Guzzler is full of energy and thinks of lots of activities he would like to do. Guzzler has so much energy to use after eating his lunch that he decided to do a headstand and think about lots of activities and games he could play. What games/activities do you think he is thinking about? Paired Activity: With your talk buddy, think of all the activities and games Guzzler could play. Share your ideas with the whole class.
