FMS-DCI6-DV-1 Compatibility table IOB (Input/Output Board) : The board which is to be removed FTA (Field Termination Assembly) : The I/O panel where the I/Os are connected, and which is kept Firelec Adapter : The migration adapter to be installed in BC11007 (new I/O file) to perform I/O migration and process signal spliting toward the DeltaV system I/O cards. FMS-DCI6-DV-1 Advantages The main advantages of the FMS-DCI6-DV-1 (ADP-ITBs) for Fischer and Porter System 6 migration are as follow : Existing I/O cables are just disconnected from the Fischer and Porter System 6 I/O boards and reconnected to the ADP-ITBs keeping in place the FTAs and associated I/O cables The existing loop drawings are kept without any modification, allowing all maintenance processes and procedures to remain unchanged.
